Noel Edmonds sets up a radio station to take pop at Lloyds over compensation

NOEL EDMONDS has taken his compensation fight against Lloyds to the airwaves – creating his own station to bash the bankers.

The TV star has added the bizarre anti-Lloyds channel to his online collection at Positivity Radio.

Songs on the playlist take a thinly veiled swipe at the British bank, including “Would I Lie To You”, “You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two”, “Money Money Money” and “I Need a Dollar”.

And he claims to be pleasing the punters, with the noel.world website linked to the station saying it pulls in over 50,000 listeners.

There are also hilarious faked Lloyds adverts claiming they will compensate all of their customers.

And Noel is interviewed at length blasting the firm for ‘robbing’ him and others – possibly by himself.

One of the regularly played jingles states: “This is Noel Edmond’s very own radio station – Positively Noel.”

Another of the fake commercials says: “The victims have waited over 10 years for justice. We – Lloyds Bank – don’t care. We are here to make people suffer.”

In between records a news bulletin jingle introduces segments of an ‘unique’ interview with Noel and a ‘behind the scenes’ look at his compensation battle.

In one of the clips, Noel states: “I don’t regard it as a cause or a movement.
I think in short it’s return of my stolen goods please. They nicked my businesses. I would like my stolen goods back with damages.

“I would like justice for myself and by association I think if I can win this battle, I think hundreds or thousands or millions can win compensation.”

The station regularly advertisers a hotline and an email address for whistleblowers at Lloyds to tell Edmonds about its bad behaviour.

The star claims to have had hundreds of responses.

Confused listeners have likened Noel’s revenge efforts to fictional radio host Alan Partridge.

One commenter said: “This is quite honestly the most demented piece of broadcasting I’ve ever heard.”

Another online listener said: “I like the whistleblower hotline.

Every news update about him the separation between Noel and Partridge gets thinner and thinner.”

Noel is seeking up to £60m in compensation from the bank after falling victim to a multi-million pound fraud a decade ago.

His former entertainment business Unique Group was ruined by corrupt financiers at HBOS in Reading, which was later bought by Lloyds.

Noel claimed the loss of the business drove him to an emotional breakdown.

He recently confirmed his case was being bankrolled with a seven-figure sum by litigation funder Therium.
