Breakfast Producer

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, music loving Producer.

You will be working closely with the Content Director and the breakfast team to produce Spin 1038's breakfast show Fully Charged, have fun and help grow audience You'll work on generating ideas, implementing and being responsible for commercial competitions; production and more.

You'll also work with our digital and marketing team to ensure the content and the show gain maximum exposure driving listenership and get those thumbs ups and hearts.

If you don't like early starts or having fun it's probably not the job for you.

What you will do

Your primary role will be working in a live environment in the on air studio, keeping Graham and Nathan focused and the station on air!

You'll understand our play out system RCS, be very comfortable with Audition, with the ability to record and edit on the fly.

Attention to detail is a most.

You'll work with the commercial and digital teams to generate unique and creative ideas. You'll also drive and push out creative show content on our social channels.

You'll have a thorough understanding of BAI regulations.

You’ll be required to edit and upload Best Ofs.

We also have a very mediocre tag rugby team so any international or club rugby experience, while not essential would be welcomed.

Requirements

Music is everything to us, so liking and listening to music is a must.

You will be an idea's person, while also capable of acting on those ideas. You'll also be a great planner, constantly looking and planning ahead.

You'll be working with the breakfast team to keep content fresh and engaging.

You'll know and understand the SPIN audience and have a proven track record of growing audience share. You will be competent on all social media including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

You'll be confident when working towards your own personal objectives, regularly setting new goals, as well as helping others  to achieve success.

Experience in a similar type of role is essential.

This role reports to the Content Director.
