Can I use BBC Reith font?

To ensure correct and consistent use of BBC Reith, and avoid misuse of BBC branding, please comply with these guidelines.

You may only use BBC Reith if you have an agreement or other authorisation to collaborate with the BBC or BBC Studios. This may be as a broadcasting partner or co-production partner, event promoter, or as a customer of BBC Studios.

Guidelines for use of BBC Reith font

You should refer to the relevant BBC style guide as supplied to you by the BBC to ensure the way you use BBC Reith is consistent with the brand guidelines. In some cases this means following a BBC template, in others it means creating artwork in accordance with BBC guidelines.

When not to use BBC Reith font

Do not use Reith when you are providing information in relation to any third party content, events or products, or an onward journey to a non-BBC destination of any kind.

For example, this could include:

  • how to buy a product from a third party (eg the website to visit, the address to send your payment to etc)
  • how to attend an event at a third party location (eg location date, time and ticket information)
  • how to watch content on a third party platform (eg when a third party’s social media post includes TX information).
