Whether in the studio with our radio shows, on location at intimate gigs, through a green screen or on the red carpet, your ultimate aim will be to produce the most exciting, shareable short-form videos, to reward our existing followers and help us reach new audiences. Candidates must have a genuine passion for creativity and enjoy working closely with presenters and producers to generate ideas and devise treatments. Ideally you will be able to create visuals or animation to accompany audio clips which were not filmed at time of recording.

The ideal candidate would combine a thorough understanding of social media, an expertise in optimising for YouTube and a journalistic grasp of what content will grab the attention of potential viewers. You will also be responsible for recruiting and managing freelance teams to staff external events, managing schedules and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities Project managing and directing video content creation in studio and on location Shooting and editing footage. Set up lighting and locations to create the best filming environments Delivering content that is accurate, on-brand, up-to-date and appealing to the audience. Devising and implementing video distribution/seeding plans to ensure maximum reach Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop ideas and concepts Work with video team to implement and maintain a house-style for all video creation Offer creative and cost effective solutions for video requirements within the company including finding locations, lighting, dressing of sets etc. *Creation of marketing assets including brand videos

Skills and experience required Camera, lighting and general location shooting skills Experience in directing and filming artist music sessions and gigs Experience of motion graphics of design and production Significant experience using Adobe Premiere and FCP CMS, YouTube and online video platform experience Comfortable using Mac and PC Social media savvy Storyboarding and scripting Awareness of media law and Ofcom compliance Awareness of Health and Safety requirements on shoots

Desirable skills and experience Experience of filming live music events General graphic and 3D skills highly advantageous including Photoshop and After Effects Photography skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications *Comfortable liaising with clients as required

Person specification Demonstrates creativity and creative input to projects Demonstrates experience and authority on shoots Ability to direct a team of videographers Able to introduce and deliver new ideas, whilst taking into account the requirements of the business. Pro-active, committed, quick thinking and able to work calmly under pressure Can-do attitude. *A team player at every level, and able to work with stakeholders to see a project through to completion
